Now, the thing is, it's extremely important and you need to do it - BUT there are some quite easy things you can do to nail it so it doesn't take up all of your working week.
Let's take the points above one by one...
Content Marketing is literally what you write about your business to engage with your prospects and customers. It is the content that they consume to find out about you, your business and your product or service.
The reason it's the most important thing to do right now is that there are so many platforms out there that your customers can use to find your product or service and you need to be on them - because your competitors will be and if they're not yet, they will be soon.
And your customers are getting cute. They want more information before they spend their hard earned cash, so you need to give it to them - in bucket loads!
It is time consuming but the trick is, to re purpose your articles, whitepapers, blog posts, social media posts, videos etc. so you're only doing the work once and then share it on all your platforms.
Plan your content well in advance and schedule it to go out where you can.
Now, if we can give you just one bit of advice when you're writing your content - have some fun with it and give your business a great personality. Write how you speak and don't worry too much about being totally grammatically correct.
If it's interesting it'll get read - if it's boring it'll get trashed!
